Manchester City to go big for Raheem Sterling

According to reports, English Premier League heavy spenders, Manchester City are set to up their offer for England international Raheem Sterling to 50 million pounds as the Liverpool winger edges closer to a move away from Anfield.

The Citizens are desperate in their attempts to bring the youngster to the Ettihad and after two initial bids were rejected by the Reds, are now set to come back with an improved offer which they Merseyside club might be hard pressed to ignore.

Moreover, Brendan Rodgers has realized that he cannot hold on to a player who does not want to stay at the club and has already started looking for replacements. The Liverpool tactician has reportedly held talks with Sterling and has asked the player to give the club some time to find a replacement before they let him join Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

The Chilean tactician has been given a lot of money to spend in the transfer market on new players and wants to spend a major chunk of it in order to get his hands on the Englishman.
