Official: Liverpool sign Roberto Firmino

In a piece of news that will definitely give Liverpool fans from all over the world a huge relief, the Reds have finally been able to complete the transfer of Brazil international, Roberto Firmino from German Bundesliga side, Hoffenheim.

The club’s sporting director, Ian Ayre himself flew to Chile where the player is at the moment for the Copa America in order to finalise personal terms and get the deal done.

The stylish playmaker has been hotly linked with a move to the Premier League this summer and after Manchester United were touted as the prime destination for the player, he has instead moved to Liverpool where he has been guaranteed game time.
