Bobby Adekanye signs for Liverpool

Brendan Rodgers’ side have acted swiftly to bring in the young midfielder from Barcelona amidst interest from a host of Premier League and other European outfits

At the age of 16, young Bobby Adekanye is considered as one of the most exciting prospects in world football and after some really impressive showings at La Masia, Barcelona’s factory for producing amazing talent on a regular basis, has chosen to take his trade to England where he has signed a contract with Liverpool.

And although he is not going to be seen playing for the senior team any time soon, it is clear that the club’s manager sees Adekanye as a player who will help the Reds become a force to be reckoned with in the coming years. Instead of dealing with current first team matters solely, Rodgers is looking to build a legacy and sees the young player as a part of his grander scheme of things.
