Manchester City near Sterling capture

The Manchester giants have made one final bid for Raheem Sterling amidst rumours that Liverpool may already have accepted the bid

Raheem Sterling is set to leave Liverpool after the England international was given permission by Brendan Rodgers to skip the team’s preseason tour to Thailand after rumours started circulating that City’s third and final bid for the young winger, believed to be in the region of 45 million pounds, had been accepted by the Reds.

The winger had chosen not to sign a contract extension with the Merseyside club and had skipped two training sessions in a bid to finalise a deal which will make him one of the highest paid youngster in world football.

The player’s agent had already stated that there would be no reconciliation with Liverpool who he believes have breached trust of the player which clearly means that Sterling is set to become one of the most hated figures among the Kop who will not be taking the departure too well.
