Liverpool have stated that they will offload the Italy international for just 10 million euros but the Genoa based outfit wants the striker for less than that
After scoring just four goals in 28 outings in all competitions, and the arrival of Christian Benteke from Aston Villa, Mario Balotelli is a transfer listed player with Liverpool eager to have him off their accounts. However, moving the striker has proven to be quite a tough task.
Italian Serie A side, Sampdoria are very much interested in signing the former AC Milan striker but don’t want to pay 10 million euros for the player.
Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero said he was open to signing Balotelli, but not for €10m and said that anything less than 10 million euros will be received with open arms.
“They told me that Mario was yesterday in Genoa,” he said on Monday.
“He costs €10m, but with discount you look with open arms.”
