Marco Reus flattered by Liverpool interest

The German international has been linked with a move to Anfield this summer and admits that he is flattered by the interest

The German international is currently under contract with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund who are currently experiencing something of a shakeup following the arrival of Thomas Tuchel who has replaced Jurgen Klopp at the helm. And although many players have chosen to stick with the club, Reus’ future is still up in the air.

The winger was linked with a move to Anfield this summer but for now, has opted to stay where he is despite admitting that the decision was not an easy one. The player’s agency, Sports Total has admitted Liverpool’s interest in the player but added that Reus is staying put for now.

Reus’s agency Sports Total said: “We read the rumours about an alleged transfer for Marco. He is flattered, but he’s recently decided to stay in Dortmund.”
