Fresh from the rumor mill, the Reds are apparently not yet finished with their summer spending spree as they are to table a £35 million offer to bring Toni Kroos to Anfield.
The 25-year-old German International had a stunning first season with Real Madrid, creating 70 chances and completing 92 percent of his passes. However, due to reasons unknown, he is unhappy at the club and could leave Santiago Bernabeu before the transfer window slams shut on September 1st. Some reports suggest that the new manager Rafael Benitez is behind the unhappiness and possible move of Toni Kroos.
This has garnered the interest of number of top clubs, including the likes of Paris-Saint Germain, Manchester United, and yes, Liverpool. However, the French Champions Paris St-Germain are in pole position to acquire the services of Madrid’s maestro, given the club’s knack for splashing humongous amount of cash to attract young talent.
