Liverpool are in talks with the Serie A side Fiorentina over the transfer of Italian midfielder, Fabio Borini.
Brendan Rodgers is reportedly keen to dispose the former Chelsea man to Fiorentina, after the Italian manager failed to make much of an impact since joining the Reds in 2012. Borini made his first Premier League appearance with Chelsea in 2009, then moved to Swansea and Roma before securing landing move to Anfield.
Fiorentina boss Paulo Sousa has reportedly notched up a £5.5 million transfer offer for the former-Roma man; however, Brendan Rodgers is eyeing for a transfer fee somewhere around £8 million offer to clear exit door for Borini.
The Italian midfielder Borini has scored 24 goals in 61 league appearances to date. However, last season, the 24-year-old spent most of the time warming up the bench, scoring only 1 goal in 18 games for the Merseyside club.
