Barclays Premier League franchise Liverpool FC is expected to let loose three of its big players, Mario Balotelli, Lucas Leiva and Fabio Borini. This would clear some hefty cash for the club to spend in the summers.
After facing a less than content last season at the English outfit, the three players are facing difficulties in making it to Brendan Rodgers’ first choice team. Leiva has been given a pass at picking a team of his choosing.
Both Balotelli and Borini are expecting a real competition from the likes of new recruits Christian Benteke and Danny Ings up front while Leiva has fallen down the pecking order in the midfield as Rodgers sees better fits in the shapes of James Milner and Jordan Henderson.
Balotelli had not been touted as the best transaction Rodgers made last season and his move away from Anfield would only cement the commotion that the Irish made one of the worst choices of his stint at Liverpool.
