Match: Rubin Kazan v Liverpool (KO 18:00).
Date: Thursday 5th November 2015
Liverpool would be hoping for a positive result as they prepare to travel more than 2500 miles to take on Rubin Kazan later this evening.
Jurgen Klopp would be eyeing a positive victory for his side and his intentions would be to go as far as possible in the Europa League in order to put his stamp on his new club. This competition will also give him the opportunity to look into several first team players.
The Premier League side has not won a game in the Europa League this season and are coming in this game on the back of a three draws.
The last clash between the two teams a fortnight ago at Anfield ended with a 1-1 score line and Jurgen Klopp would like to change things when his side travel to take on Rubin Kazan.
However, getting all three points on the road and against a side like Rubin Kazan is a tough task to ask from Liverpool.
But after getting an good result against Chelsea in the Premier League, which was Liverpool’s first win under their new manager, the Reds would be hoping for another morale boosting win to get their European campaign on track as well.
No English team as won at the Kazan Arena making it even more tough for Jurgen Klopp’s side but the German is adamant that his side could very well be the first English team to register a win there.
Liverpool would be happy to know that Christian Benteke has returned to full fitness and is in contention to start the game for Reds.
