Liverpool punters and fans pile into 6/1 offer on Reds home win in FA Cup

An expectant Liverpool crowd will be hopeful that Jurgen Klopp’s side can finally put Exeter City to bed and progress to the next round of the FA Cup on Wednesday night.

After a pulsating 2-2 draw at Exeter’s St James Park ground, the Liverpool boss is sure to not take any chances, and it would take a foolish punter to back against the Reds, and with Coral offering 6/1 on the Liverpool home win(was 3/10) there’s plenty to get excited about.

Pick up 6/1 on Liverpool to beat Exeter Wednesday:

Exeter certainly have everything to gain for their trip with the side going into the match with no fears.

Their manager Paul Tisdale telling the BBC:

We’d love to be through to the next round, the reality is that’s going to be some ask, but why not?

“There’s no point us going into the game expecting to lose, we have to spin every positive we can,” Tisdale said.

“We don’t very often play at Anfield in this type of fixture, it’s a big tie and it does give some reward to the Exeter supporters and supporters at this level to watch their team play in this type of match”

For Liverpool, things have not exactly gone according to plan following the arrival of their new German manager, and Klopp will be hoping to avoid any sort of upset as his side looks to build confidence, on what has been a relatively disappointing campaign so far.

Confidence was further shattered after losing to Manchester Utd at Anfield last weekend, in a game in which the Anfield club dominated but once again lacked that cutting edge up front.

The Reds have only mustered a miserly 19 points from 14 points since Klopp took over in mid October last year, and its clear the arrival of Christian Benteke has not solved Liverpool’s goalscoring problems.

For one thing the Reds will be missing teen striker Jerome Sinclair, who scored in the tie at Exeter, but looks to be on his way out of Anfield, ESPN indicating the front man has rejected a new contract at Liverpool. Watford are one of the sides reportedly interested.

Predictably, the Reds are an almost unbackable 3/10 to beat Paul Tisdale’s side, with the League Two side a large looking 12/1.

Surely there will be no further upsets at Liverpool Wednesday night. (KO 20:00).
