Jose Mourinho will make his competitive debut as Manchester United when his side take on Leicester City in the Charity Shield.
The curtain-raiser for the season will pitch the Premier League champions, Leicester against the cup winners, United and takes place at Wembley, kick off 4pm.
It is perhaps the sight of the Red Devils and Mourinho that will capture the imagination of most. The former Chelsea boss has already made his mark on the united squad with the signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The return to action of Luke Shaw after almost a season out with injury will also be a boost for Mourinho. The left back impressed in Wayne Rooney’s testimonial against Everton and should start.
Upfront, Ibrahimovic is likely to line up alongside Rooney and Anthony Martial in a mouth-watering attack with Mkhitaryan providing the ammunition.
United have won two of their pre-season games, beating Wigan 2-0 and thrashing Galatasaray 5-2. Their only defeat came at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in a 4-1 drubbing while a historic first ever derby with Manchester City outside of England was cancelled due to the Chinese weather.
Leicester have experienced a summer of high profile clashes, a sign of their status as Champions of England. The Foxes beat Celtic in penalties in the International Champions Cup before losing 4-0 to PSG and 4-2 to Barcelona.
The game with Barcelona featured a double from Ahmed Musa. The pacey forward scored two excellent goals and looks set to be another shrewd capture by Claudio Ranieri.
Musa, along with another summer signing Nampalys Mendy will feature on Sunday while Bartosz Kapustka could feature after sealing a move from Polish side, Cracovia.
The 19 year old was one of the stars of Poland’s run to the last 8 of the European Championship.
