Liverpool move for Bayern Munich star in player + while Citizens eye up defender

Another day in the world of football brings plenty more transfer gossip and there is a lot of speculation over Liverpool striker – Luis Suarez.

The controversial Uruguayan has said he wants to leave Anfield and it is being reported that Brendan Rodgers is fighting a losing battle trying to keep hold of his leading scorer from last season.

However, the Reds’ boss won’t allow him to leave Merseyside for anything less than £50 million, so Suarez will have to hope that one of the rich European clubs come in for him.

Luckily for the forward, he is one of the best in the world at what he does and there could be a battle between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich for  the Uruguay international.

Chelsea also seem to be interested, but Suarez doesn’t really want a move to Stamford Bridge.

Bayern could be leading the way in this battle as well as they are prepared to offer Arjen Robben plus cash for Suarez and that could be tempting for Liverpool should the fee be correct. It doesn’t look like the striker will be playing in the Premier League next season.

Rodgers will add to his strike force though, even if Suarez doesn’t go as there should be money coming in for the Andy Carroll, who looks set to join West Ham United for around £15 million.

The Liverpool boss seems to have made Negredo of Seville a target and he might make a move for him in the next few weeks.

Another club that look set to be busy is Manchester City and they have already completed the signing of Jesus Navas, but won’t stop there.

The Citizens have recently signed Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fernandinho, who has been a target for Chelsea recently.

He could be just the kind of midfielder Man City need in their squad and the summer spending might not stop there as the 2012 Premier League champions are also keen on Real Madrid’s Pepe.

The Spanish giants don’t want to sell the Portuguese, but money always talks of course and if Pepe wants to go, we might see him in the Premier League.

Chelsea look like being one of the summer’s big spenders as well and owner Roman Abramovich is frustrated he wasn’t able to bring Radamel Falcao or Robert Lewandowski to Stamford Bridge, so has asked Jose Mourinho and Michael Emenalo to agree on transfer targets.

One man that keeps popping up in terms of speculation is Edin Dzeko as Mourinho clearly rates him, but the owner could have the final say in this one yet again as he wonders if the Bosnian is better than the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Fernando Torres.

It is going to be a very busy summer at the Bridge and there might even be a few fallouts at Chelsea before a ball has been kicked. Watch this space though, as they are sure to linked with some big names in European football.
