Revenge will be on the Red Devils mind when they make the trip down to the Liberty stadium to take on Swansea as Manchester Utd form part of a fast 10/1 treble with Paddy Power.
Earlier in the campaign the Welsh outfit won their first ever league match at Old Trafford in Louis van Gaal’s first competitive match in charge of the Red Devils. The defeat was the first time had lost at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season since 1972.
10/1 Treble for Saturday:
Despite the criticisms that has since come the way of Van Gaal, notably his decision to play Wayne Rooney in midfield and the perception that the club have resorted to being a long ball team, the club have improved. Considerably so.
Over the last 15 games no team has taken more points in the league than United. The club have accumulated 34 in that time to move third in the table. Van Gaal’s men have won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five games and a win over the Swans would see them pile the pressure on cross-city rivals City, who play Newcastle later on Saturday evening.
Van Gaal is expected to be at almost full strength. Striker Robin van Persie is fit after missing the FA Cup win over Preston with a minor knock with Michael Carrick the only expected absentee.
The Swans meanwhile will have Gylfi Sigurdsson available again after serving a three-match suspension for the red card he picked up in the FA Cup defeat to Blackburn.
Also available to Garry Monk are Wayne Routledge and Marvin Emnes however Kyle Bartley has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee problem.
The clubs have struggled in recent weeks winning just one of their last seven games and could drop out of the top 10 for the first time this season with a defeat on Saturday.
