Chelsea to fight with Manchester United for Gonzalo Higuain

Jose Mourinho is keen on acquiring the services of a proven goalscorer this summer and has already made approaches to bring Gonzalo Higuain to Stamford Bridge.

Reports claim that Manchester United are looking to hijack Chelsea’s move for the Argentine international who is rumoured to be unsettled at Napoli following the departure of Rafael Benitez who has recently been named Real Madrid’s latest manager.

Higuain played under Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid and a fee in the region of 44 million euros may be enough for Aurelio di Laurentiis to be convinced to let go of his prized asset.
