Manchester United agree deal for Brazilian playmaker – report

Reports in Germany claim that Manchester United could be set to announce their latest signing for this summer’s transfer window with rumours circulating that Louis van Gaal has convinced Brazil international, Roberto Firmino to sign with the Red Devils.

Firmino has been one of the most consistent performers in the German Bundesliga over the past couple of seasons and after Hoffenheim failed to qualify for Champions League, has asked the club to let him go. And it appears that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs.

This is what Bundesliga expert Kevin Hatchard had to say about the possible transfer.

“Firmino has been consistently loyal to Hoffenheim, and he surprised a few people by agreeing a new deal last March. He feels the club has helped him develop as a player, but after Hoffenheim failed to qualify for Europe, it seems like the right time to move on.”
