De Gea move gathers pace as United eye Ajax shot stopper

Sources close to have indicated that Ajax stopper Jasper Cillessen is being lined up to replace David de Gea, whose move to Real Madrid looks to be gathering pace with the news that Iker Casillas is preparing to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

Dutch goalkeeping coach at Old Trafford, Frans Hoek recommended the 26 yr old shot stopper to Louis Van Gaal, and with an obviously strong Dutch connection the move could be very possible.

Cillessen himself has had an outstanding season in Holland, with Ajax finishing third in the table, and the club are bracing themselves for a summer of bids

De Gea looks set for a move to Real Madrid, in a deal worth around £30m, and with Casillas moving on United could move sooner rather than later.
