With David de Gea edging closer and closer to the Old Trafford exit door, Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal is aware of the importance of bringing in a replacement as quickly as possible. The likes of Hugo Lloris of Tottenham, Neto of Fiorentina and Jasper Cillisen of Ajax Amsterdam have been hotly linked with a move to the red side of Manchester.
And reports in Dutch media claim that van Gaal is very keen on a reunion with the Dutch shot stopper who has developed himself into one of the best young shot stoppers in the world.
After a really good World Cup under LVG for the Netherlands, Cillisen is ready to test himself at a bigger club where he believes he can further develop himself into an even better goalkeeper than he is right now.
And although United are keeping their options open, Van Gaal feels that having the Dutchman on board will be a great move.
