Man United go big for Sergio Ramos

Reports in Spanish media claim that English Premier League giants, Manchester United have submitted Real Madrid an official bid over the transfer of Spain international, Sergio Ramos. The bid is believed to be above 50 million euros as the World Cup winner seeks to leave Santiago Bernebeu on a bitter note.

The player had reportedly held a long meeting with the club’s authorities where he told them to consider any offer coming from Old Trafford and has asked his agent personally to engineer a move to Louis van Gaal’s side. Ramos has reportedly been on the back end of a smear campaign after he publicly threw support to former manager Carlo Ancelotti following his sacking.

Moreover, Ramos is not happy with the contract extension he has been offered and feels that it is time for his to leave Spain for England where he is guaranteed a great package. The Spanish defender is reported to have been offered a five year deal by the Red Devils.
