United or nothing for Sergio Ramos

Former Real Madrid president, Ramon Calderon has revealed that star defender, Sergio Ramos is clearly unhappy with his situation at the club and added that the player clearly wants to leave Spain for Manchester United.

The Spain international has put contract talks on hold and has asked the Galacticos to let him leave for Old Trafford where he is expected to land a lucrative financial deal that will make him one of the top earners in English football. And Calderon says that Ramos is feeling unloved at the club and understands why he wants to join the Red Devils.

Calderon told the BBC: “I know Sergio has told the general manager to listen to offers they get from Manchester United.

“He only wants to go to United.”

“Things are in a very bad situation,” he added.

“As time has gone on, things have not only not improved, they have got worse.

“Now it is not a question of money. It is a lack of affection the player is feeling from Real Madrid.”
