Bayern Munich manager, Pep Guardiola has stated that veteran midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger must decided what he wants by the end of the transfer window as rumours keep flowing left, right and center around the Allianz Arena
The German international has been hotly linked with a move to Manchester United where he will be reunited with former manager, Louis van Gaal. And although the player has a chance of regular game time at Old Trafford, is still not sure what he wants at the moment.
And Guardiola, who might not be able to guarantee the world cup winner a lot of game time, has stated that the player must decide what he wants to do about his sporting future.
“I told him ‘the future depends on you’. Basti has managed a great career. He must decide what he does alone,” Guardiola told reporters.
“Of course I am planning to work with Basti next season. Basti has to decide.
“If Schweinsteiger wants to stay here then that’s perfect. He’s a top player.”
