Manchester United agree deal for Nicolas Gaitan

According to reports in Portugal, Louis van Gaal’s side have agreed to pay Benfica around 30 million euros to get their hands on star playmaker, Nicolas Gaitan

Manchester United have been scouting Gaitan for several seasons now and after he was first scouted by former manager Sir Alex Ferguson, the Argentine could now secure a long awaited move to Old Trafford after reports in Portuguese sports newspaper, O Globo claimed that the English giants have already agreed to pay Benfica 30 million euros to acquire the left footed playmaker.

However, one of the biggest complications in this deal lies in the unresolved future of Angel di Maria who is unhappy with life in England and is reportedly looking to join Paris Saint-Germain. Due to the fact that the Red Devils gave been unable to sell the former Real Madrid man, Gaitan might be forced to look elsewhere in Europe which means that the Di Maria deal has to go down before LVG can have another playmaker in his squad.
