Sergio Ramos negates Manchester United rumours

The Spain international has been hotly linked with a move to Old Trafford but has come out in the media to say that there is no truth behind such rumours

Another day, another conflicting statement that is bound to confuse the living daylights out of all those who have rather religiously followed the state of affairs that is Sergio Ramos’ relationship with Real Madrid.

The former Seville man has been at the Santiago Bernabeu for a really long time but it has been reported that the player’s relationship with the club’s authorities has been damaged beyond repair and that the player has his heart set on a move to Old Trafford where he will be given a lucrative five year deal.

However, Ramos has now spoken to the media and revealed that there is nothing behind such rumours.

“I’m not negotiating with anyone,” he told Cuatro, having previously offered a simple “all is well”.

The World Cup-winner then declined to respond when pressed on whether he will stay at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
