The Red Devils have reached an agreement for the German international over a move to Old Trafford this summer according to Bayern Munich chief, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge
In a piece of news that was waiting to be confirmed for the past few days, Manchester United have a agreed terms with the German midfielder over a move to Old Trafford where he will be given a three year deal worth 10 million euros a year. The move will see Schweinsteiger reunite with Louis van Gaal with whom he worked with for two years when the Dutchman was in charge at the Allianz Arena.
The news was broken by Rummenigge at a press conference on Saturday.
“My colleagues at Manchester United have been in touch,” Rummenigge told reporters at a press conference on Saturday. “We’ve reached an agreement over a transfer. Bastian wants to do something new at the end of his career. He asked that we meet his wishes.
