Fenerbahce agree deal for Robin van Persie

The Turkish giants have confirmed that they have struck a deal with the Manchester United striker who will be offered a lucrative salary

The Red Devils striker is apparently angry at being forced out of Old Trafford by Louis van Gaal and has decided to agree terms with Fenerbahce. The news was also confirmed by Aziz Yildrim who spoke about the hard work his team had done to make the move happen.

We worked very hard, until midnight. We received five faxes, sent six faxes and finally it was finished,” Yildirim told Hurriyet.

“The Van Persie transfer is done and one more star has joined the Fenerbahce constellation.”

The 31 year old striker signed for the Red Devils a few years back from Gunners and after a great debut season, struggled with form and fitness and was thus relegated to the bench. And with LVG looking to add more young blood to the squad, RVP was always going to be likely to cut from the team.
