MLS outfit looking to sign Javier Hernandez

Orlando City have admitted that they are really interested in bringing the Manchester United striker to North America where he will be given a chance to resurrect his career

He might have fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford in recent times and did not get what he was expecting out of a season long loan spell with Real Madrid but it is clear to see that Mexico international, Javier Hernandez is a wanted man.

The striker is currently attracting interest from a host of teams in Europe with the likes of Napoli, Lazio, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham and Stoke vying for his signature. And now, it appears that an MLS side is also looking lure him away from Old Trafford where he clearly has no future.

Orlando City’s owner Flavio Augusto da Silva has confirmed his club are in for the 27-year-old.

“Many clubs in MLS are working to have this guy”, the Orlando supremo was quoted as saying by beIN Sports.

“But we are at the beginning of the conversation and, as you know, the less we talk about the situation the better, because we are in the middle of negotiations.

“We hope in one or two weeks to be ready to talk about Chicharito in a different way”, Da Silva added.
