Ed Woodward looking to bring more players at Old Trafford

The Manchester United dealmaker has revealed that the club’s business in the transfer market is not over yet and has stated that he will be making a flurry of moves in the next few weeks

Following the arrivals of the likes of Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmina, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin, the Red Devils have already a really strong squad that should be competing for the league title next season. However, it is believed that manager, Louis van Gaal wants a couple of more players to Old Trafford in a bid to make sure that the team is filled up in every department.

And Woodward is keen to comply. “The sooner the better,” Woodward told MUTV. “Because it means Louis can start blending them into the team and getting them used to the training, get used to their colleagues.

“We’ll see, with transfers, everyone wants to know what’s going to happen, who you’re talking to. The reality is we’ve been successful in bringing in four, which is fantastic. To the extent that others come, it’s up to Louis.

“We’ll continue to assess what’s out there and assess the squad we’ve got and think about the upcoming season, where we’re obviously going to have more games than last year. We’ll see.”
