The Red Devils have been hotly linked with a move for the German international and Philipp Lahm admits that his Bayern Munich teammate could eventually leave the club this summer
It appears that Manchester United’s search for a new striker has once again led them back to German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich amidst reports that Louis van Gaal is confident that Thomas Muller is the striker he needs to turn the club’s fortunes around.
According to reports, the club may already have offered Munich 100 million euros for the free scoring striker and if Lahm’s comments are anything to go by with, Muller could leave Allianz Arena soon.
Speaking directly to the press on Tuesday, Bayern ace Philipp Lahm admitted that his German companion could leave the club this summer: “In football you can imagine everything. It’s not my decision. In football it goes so, so quickly.
“It’s not always up to the player. There are clubs who get players, players go.”
