Louis van Gaal downbeat on David de Gea transfer saga

The Manchester United manager says that Real Madrid’s pursuit of his number one is not helping his club anymore

For months, Manchester United and Real Madrid have been haggling at the transfer fee for the club’s current number 1, David de Gea with reports claiming that the player wants to leave Old Trafford for a return to Spain to be close to his girlfriend.

And after vehemently denying rumours for weeks, LVG has admitted publicly that the Spain international may want to leave the club before adding that the situation right now is neither favourable for the player and for the club.

“We have a situation that is not favourable for David De Gea, neither for us and neither for the club that, maybe, he wants to go,” he told reporters after the Red Devils were beaten 2-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the International Champions Cup.
