Manchester United boss Van Gaal will end Spaniard’s transfer saga in the next 48 hours, according to latest reports.
The former Bayern Munich manager, Van Gaal, wants to decide David De Gea’s future before Red Devils clash against Spurs on Saturday.
“We have a situation that is not favourable for David de Gea, but neither for us and neither for the club that maybe he wants to go (to),” Van Gaal spoke to media.
Since the very beginning of the summer transfer window, the La Liga giants Real Madrid have been keen to bring De Gea to Bernabeue, and it is understood that the Spanish goalkeeper is also desperate to return to his hometown. The 24-year-old star enjoyed a sensational last season between the sticks at Old Trafford, finishing with 93 saves and 10 clean sheets in 37 appearances.
LVG has already signed the Argentine star Sergio Romero and also has former-Barcelona goalie Valdes at his disposal to replace De Gea, if Spaniard puts pen to Madrid’s paper.
