The 30-year-old winger Ashley Young has agreed a new three-year contract which will keep him at Old Trafford since 2018.
Manchester United have confirmed that the winger has inked a new deal with Red Devils after impressing Louis van Gaal with stunning performance in 2014-15 season. Young scored 2 goals and provided 5 assists in 23 Premier League appearances for Red Devils last season.
“I am delighted to have signed a new contract. The spirit and motivation amongst this team is very high and we are all determined to make this a season to remember,” he told the club’s official website.
“All I have ever wanted to do is play football and to be able to continue to do that at the biggest club in the world means everything to me and my family.”
United start their Premier League campaign at home to Tottenham on Saturday.
