Manchester United reignite Harry Kane interest

According to latest reports, the Red devils are lining up a fresh move to lure the Spurs star striker to Old Trafford.

After the departure of Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie to Chelsea and Fenerbahce respectively, Manchester United are desperately in need of a stellar striker to strengthen their attacking lines before the transfer window closes on September 1st.

United were linked with Harry Kane last month, with reports suggesting that LVG had put forward a £45million bid on Mauricio Pochettino’s desk. However, the Spurs boss dismissed United approach, saying that Harry Kane is staying at White Hart Lane.

But the latest reports from English media suggest that after winning the season opener against Tottenham on Saurday, United manager Louis Van Gaal has made ‘discreet inquiries’ over a Harry Kane deal again. The White Hart Lane side are reluctant to let go of their superstar, but an enticing transfer deal might sway Pochettino to clear an exit door for the 22-year-old English International.
