Sergio Ramos ends United saga after agreeing to sign a new, five year contract with Los Blancos.
It is over! Finally over! Rumours have been rife throughout the summer that the Spaniard wants to leave the Spanish capital to join Manchester United, after his wage demands were not met. It was also understood that the relationship between superstar defender and club president Florentina Perez had stiffened for a while. However, the 29-year-old defender has now put all rumours to rest after acquiescing to sign a new deal with La Liga giants.
Speculations suggest that the Spaniard will sign a new five year contract that will keep him committed to Estadio Santiago Bernabeu until 30th June 2020. Los Blancos skipper, whose current expires in June 2017, will receive salary expansion of €3 million, from his current €6 million a year to around €9 million per year.
