Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal has finally lifted the curtains over his first choice David De Gea dilemma. He said on Friday that the keeper does not want to play for the club until the matter of his transfer is resolved.
Spanish giants Real Madrid showed strong interest during this summer to bring back De Dea to his home country but the decision has been up in the air for some time now. the 24-year-old himself has shown interest in signing up for Madrid.
The Spanish club, however, has now changed the tone toward the potential purchase. They are now playing it cool to avoid any clumsy and impulsive decisions.
De Gea, in the last game against Tottenham Hotspurs, stayed on the bench while Van Gaal gave the new recruit Sergio Romero the change to protect the net. The summer signing kept a clean sheet against the Spurs.
Van Gaal said that this is the first time that the Spaniard has told openly that he does not want to play for the Red Devils.
