Besiktas have agreed terms with Manchester United to sign Victor Valdes

The Super Lig club’s manager Senol Gunes who himself is a former goalkeeper is rumored to make the final decision over Valdes’s arrival and further discuss the personal terms with the former Barcelona star.

Although the both clubs involved are yet to reach a formal agreement but the move is likely to fall through according to multiple reports by SkySports. Valdes was initially offered to train with the Manchester United squad after he came back from a knee injury, he signed an 18-month deal in January.

Speculation surrounding De Gea’s departure made Valdes’s pick in the first team more imminent but Louis Van Gaal forced him to train with the U-21s which resulted in a feud between the player and the manager.

After that speculation, Van Gaal announced in public that Victor Valdes has no place at Old Trafford. His career at United comprises of just two appearances at the end of last season and was left out of the squad which went to America for pre-season.
