Cesena Napoli Live Stream Italy Serie A as Cavani looks to fire at Stadio Dino Manuzzi

Finally, Serie A is about to get under way – later than all the other top European Leagues, following last-minute strike action. And one of the big games of the first round of fixtures will see ambitious Napoli travel to Cesena.

The Naples based club qualified for the Champions League last season, and will hope they can go a step further this time around, by challenging for the title. There are many talented players at the club right now, including the much sort after Edison Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Cesena, meanwhile, were down the other end of the table, fighting against relegation. In the end they stayed up pretty comfortably, but will know that they must improve this season, to avoid a similar situation.

Napoli completed the double over Cesena in the league during the last campaign, and will be looking to get off to a bright start this time out by getting their first win against them. When they met at Cesena’s Stadio Dino Manuzzi, the visitors ran out 4-1 winners, before picking up a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture.

Star striker, Cavani believes there is no limit to how far Napoli can go this season: “The sky is the limit for Napoli. Serie A, Champions League and Coppa Italia. We will do our utmost in all competitions.” Cavani said to Il Corriere dello Sport.

“Last year’s third place and the club’s excellent work in the summer transfer window gives us the morale to fight right until the end. We have everything it takes to have a successful season. It’s impossible not to do well with such fantastic fans. We are very optimistic.”

It all sets up in intriguing opening day clash, and Cesena will know that they will have to be at their best to come away with anything from the game.

The action kicks off at 19:45 tonight.
