Unai Emery and his Valencia side will look to continue their superb start to their La Liga campaign.

Three victories against Racing, Atletico and a win at Gijon in their most recent match has seen the side reach the summit and  Emery will be hoping that his side can contain the talents of Messi, Xavi, Fabregas and Villa.

In reality, the side have not faced a team of the quality of the Barcelona yet this season and this will be a tough challenge for them at the Estadio Mestalla.

They will be hopeful that Roberto Soldado is fit to play after the striker, who has already found the net five times this season, hobbled off with with a foot injury during their game in Gijon.

Barcelona are likely to keep the same side which demolished Osasuna, which means Carlos Puyol will once again start in the centre of defence, although Gerard Pique has not yet recovered from a calf strain and is not 100% fit. Andres Iniesta and Alexis Sanchez are still out with hamstring injuries.

Pep Guardiola is sure to want to take advantage of Real Madrid’s shock defeat at Levante last week, although historically games between these sides have been tight over the years. We may not see another eight goals but it is sure to be an interesting encounter with two of La Liga’s leading talents on display.

The action kicks off  from the Estadio Mestalla at 9pm, with Bet365 streaming the game live.
