Manchester City will look to get hands on the Premier League trophy when they take on West Ham later today, with Coral offering an enhanced price of 3/1 for Man City to win.

The Citizens have spent just 15 days at the top of the league this season but they will head into the clash with the Hammers two points clear of Liverpool with their destiny in their own hands.

A win or a draw would be enough to see the club crowned champions of England for the second time in three seasons.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side will head into the game full of confidence after overcoming the challenges of Everton and Aston Villa in the last week with seven goals scored and two conceded.

The club broke the 100 goal barrier in the midweek success over Villa and their hopes of adding to that tally on Sunday have been boosted by the news that Sergio Aguero is fit to play against West Ham.

The Argentina international missed the midweek victory over Villa after suffering a groin strain during the first half the win at Everton however his manager confirmed that he will return this weekend.

“The whole squad is fit,” said Pellegrini.

“It is very important. If you have your whole squad you can choose between all your players – that is the most important thing for a manager.”

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that his side won’t make it easy for City with the 59 year old adding that he would love to see Steven Gerrard lift the title.

“From a neutral’s point of view I think everybody would like to see Liverpool win it, and from a personal point of view I’d like to see Steven Gerrard win it” the former Newcastle boss said.

“It’s the last thing for him which he hasn’t quite achieved at Liverpool. He’s been a one club man all his life. Obviously they’ve let it slip out of their hands. They had it to take, but they’ve now left it in the hands of Manchester City.

“We all know Man City in full cry are very difficult to play against. We’ve got to go out there and give a fantastic performance to stop them trying to grasp the title on that day.

“Of course that will be hugely difficult – this is the best team at home in the league. They’ve only lost once, against Chelsea, their goal record is fantastic and they’ve got great, great players.

“So every player on top of his form, every player can go out and give everything they’ve got from the basis we’re already in the Premier League next season.

“Let’s try and spoil Manchester City’s party.”

Key to any West Ham hopes will be Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing. The former Liverpool players were instrumental in helping the club to a 2-0 win over Spurs last time out, the Hammers first win in five.
