This year there are a number of good horses holding entries and punters will be interested in the prospects of victory for Bronterre, Daddy Long Legs, Entifaadha and Harbour Watch.

Bronterre is a very exciting youngster trained by Aiden O’Brien. The bay colt has run twice and won comfortably on both occasion with his latest success a good performance at Goodwood.

The horse is very well rated and should be amongst the serious challengers at the sharp end of the race.

Daddy Long Legs is another from the Aiden O’Brien yard and will certainly have his supporters despite a minor hiccup when finishing in fourth place at Doncaster recently.

However, the horse has won at Newmarket and over the distance at Gowran Park and as such can be considered to hold a realistic chance.

Entifaadha is trained by William Haggas and has a little more experience than some of the others holding entries. The bay colt has run four times and won twice but was disappointing last time out when finishing fifth.

As a beaten favourite on that occasion there will be some who will be nervous of getting their fingers burned once more but the horse has a realistic prospect if running to his best.

Harbour Watch is another that should be considered. The Richard Hannon-trained youngster has run three times and one each of these races.

The horse is very well fancied within racing circles and maybe worth watching if the odds offered by the bookmakers are favourable on the day.
