Sunderland vs. Everton Odds- Will Toffees continue recent good form?

Everton will be out to build on their dominant display over Lille when they travel to the North East to face Sunderland.

Roberto Martinez watched on as his side beat the French side, 3-0 on Thursday in their Europa league clash to extend their European unbeaten run to four games.

With the club unbeaten in their last three games in the league, a run that has moved them up to 9th in the table as a result, a slow start to the season has long been consigned to the back of the mind.

Last time out in the league they drew 0-0 with Swansea. That was the first time since April that the toffees had failed to score in a league game and it was also just their third clean sheet of the season.

On Sunday they face a Sunderland side that climbed to 15th in the table midweek with a 3-1 win away to Crystal Palace. It was just the club’s 2nd win in their last five games.

Guy Poyet’s side boasts the third worst defence in the league, although an 8-0 drubbing at the hands of Southampton in game week 8 has distorted the good work of John O’Shea and co.
