Chelsea would be hoping to put some pressure off their boss with a victory against Dynamo Kiev in their next Champions League game schedule to take place at Stamford Bridge this Wednesday night (Ko 19:45)
Things have gone from bad to worse for the reigning English Premier League Champions in the Premier League as the title holders are at the wrong end of the table.
Jose Mourinho is under great pressure to turn things around and he is under continuous fear of getting sacked after a horrid start from his side. However, the Portuguese manager has denied the argument that it is a must win game for Chelsea.
Like in Premier League, Chelsea have not performed well in Europe this season either. Their only win the competition came against minnows, Maccabi Tel Aviv. Their last game against Dynamo Kiev was comparatively better and odds are in the favor of the London club to get the most out of this game.
The Special One is confident that his side will go through the next round but is hopeful to get at least a point from this game. The London club will next face Maccabi Tel Aviv in their next Champions League clash before completing the first round of the competition against FC Porto at home.
Chelsea are without Radamel Falcao, who has suffered an injury during training on Tuesday and is expected to remain on the sidelines for a couple of weeks.
However, Ivanovic and Pedro are back in contention after returning to full training and could very well play some part on Wednesday.
