Swansea Aston Villa Odds as Bet365 launch free bets offer on Brendan Rogers side

Brendan Rogers looks set to be rewarded for guiding Swansea into the Premier League ahead of their weekend clash with Aston Villa with a new deal at the Liberty Stadium, according to club chairman Huw Jenkins as bet365 report a free bets offer on the Sunday football coupon.

Swansea have enjoyed an excellent start to their maiden Premier League campaign and currently sit in 13th a little more than a season since Rogers took up the mantle at the Liberty Stadium.

Having won promotion with the Welsh club at the first attempt, Jenkins revealed Rogers will be offered an improved contract on his current one year rolling deal with the club.

“We will be sitting down with Brendan to look at sorting out a longer-term deal over the next few months.” The chairman told the South Wales Evening Post.

“Brendan’s services are already secured as he is on a one-year rolling contract, but naturally we want to secure him in the long term.

“Brendan and I speak at least three times a week, maybe every day, and we have already talked through his thoughts and mine on extending his contract.

“Brendan likes working here. He is happy and he is settled, and we will look to get something sorted out.”

The Northern Irishman will look to make it a merry Christmas and guide Swansea further up the leaguer table with a win over an Aston Villa side that looked short of ideas in their 2-0 defeat at the hands of Spurs on Monday.

Swansea go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Manchester United, and given the contrasting nature of both side’s recent performances, Rogers will be confident of claiming maximum points.

United ended Swansea’s excellent home record this season which has seen them go unbeaten in five while conceding just one at the Liberty Stadium before the weekend.
