Ahead of tonight’s X Factor final results show, Simon Cowell has given his support to girl group Little Mix who are up against Marcus Collins in the final showdown of the series as Paddy Power announce a free bet offer on tonights betting in the final.
Amelia Lily was voted off last night, meaning that Tulisa and Gary’s act will go head to head this evening to see who will be crowned the 2011 X Factor winner.

It is Little Mix that have the major backing of X Factor creator Simon though as he appeared via satellite link to heap praise on the girls.
He said: “Little Mix are a revelation and if a girl group were to win the show, it makes history. If I had to pick someone – no question of a doubt, Little Mix won the night.”
“Watching the final really made me miss being back in Britain. It was absolutely amazing. One of the best finals I have ever seen and I wasn’t on it!”
“The panel have done great this year. we could have had a little bit more controversy but at the end of the day it’s all about finding stars and I think Marcus versus Little Mix is going to be sensational.”
“I thought duets were great. I thought all three contestants did really well. I liked the opening number by Marcus and I thought Amelia Lily sang really well but Little Mix won the night.”
As for the finalists themselves, they too enjoyed their evening with one member of Little Mix saying: “If it wasn’t for Tulisa believing in us from the start, we wouldn’t be here today.”
Marcus added: “I don’t mind who I’m up against – I just want to perform to the best of my ability. I’m so proud of those girls, Little Mix have worked so hard.”
It really is set to be a thrilling final this evening. Marcus and Little Mix will be performing their version of the winners song and there will be performances from Westlife and Coldplay too.
It all gets underway at 7.30pm this evening on ITV One.
