Swansea v Wolves, Saturday 15:00
After proving themselves as fierce competition against the biggest of foes, one would think that Swansea are capable of sending the already relegated Wolves packing from the Liberty Stadium this weekend as Paddy Power offer free bets and peg the Welsh club as odds on favourites to continue their Premier League march.

Brendan Rodgers’ side surprised just about everyone with their free-flowing and fluid football this season but it is their home defence that has built a firm foundation on Swansea’s impressive mid-table position.

The Welsh outfit have conceded just 0.82 goals per game on average this season as well as keeping clean sheets in a magnificent 47% of their home matches.

Swansea were going through a rough patch at the beginning of April but appear to be getting their performances back on track and are unbeaten in their last two games.

Paddy Power will offer free bets worth £100/€100 to spend on any football fixture this week, including any weekend Premiership game! Exclusive to SqueakyBumTime.com

However, attack has been a whole other issue for the Swans, who have failed to find the back of the net in 40% of their matches this campaign.

It’s good news for Rodgers’ team then, that Wolves have the worst defence in the English top flight.

The West Midlands outfit have leaked a miserable 2.14 goals per game on average and have gained just two points from their last eleven outings.

Dorus de Vries will earn his second consecutive start for the visitors with Wayne Hennessey out for the season while Sebastien Bassong is another defensive absence after picking up a hamstring injury in last weekend’s loss against Manchester City.

Swansea have an entirely more empty looking injury list and are looking to welcome Alan Tate – who has been out for two weeks with a calf problem – back into the side.

The hosts can move back into the top half of the table should they net three points on Saturday but while Wolves have nothing left to fight for, the Molineux club will be keen to finish the season on a high.
