The nonchalant Bulgarian has struggled to nail down a first team place at Old Trafford this season and has become frustrated after being forced to play a bit-part role for United.
Afters starting just five Premier League games the 31-year-old has admitted he is looking to leave the club and his agent Emil Danchev has let slip that the striker fancies a move to PSG.
Speaking to French radio station RMC Danchev brushed off speculation that Bundesliga chapions Borussia Dortmund were in the running for his signature hinting that his client will be playing in France next season.
He said: “In the press, there are many speculations regarding Dimitar.”
“But the truth is, that PSG’s project can really interest him because he wants to play the Champions League next year.
“Plus, there has never been a Bulgarian player at PSG, so it could be good.”
Last week Berbatov admitted that his time with United is coming to an end after Sir Alex Ferguson failed to come good on promises he made over playing time.
“We talked 10 times, he told me there would be a place for me but I stayed on the bench.” He said.
“My time at Manchester United is running out. I no longer feel like a valuable part of this team.
“I think I did well in the few opportunities that I received. I am a little frustrated by the way this happened, I do not think I deserved it.
“But I have dignity and I stopped going to such meetings, it is clear that I’m leaving United. It’s obvious that I have to leave.
“I’m looking for a new place now. I know I can still play at the highest level.”
