Spain v France Odds : Torres takes on Benzema as money back if game goes to penalties

Saturday night sees arguably the pick of the quarter-final ties takes place as odds on Spain and France go up against each other, with Paddy Power reporting free bets and money back if the game goes to penalties.

Firstly, France will feel as though they should have won their group and only have themselves to blame after losing 2-0 to Sweden last time out.

Laurent Blanc will be left disappointed with his team who now could not have a tougher quarter-final. For all France’s good attacking play and flair going forward, they are lacking goals which will concern Blanc.

However, the French boss will feel as though there is still plenty to come from his men and it is only a matter of time until the likes of Karim Benzema and Frank Ribery find some form in front of goal.

Paddy Power will offer free bets worth £250/€250 to spend on any quarter final match, and will refund bets if the game goes to penalties! Exclusive to SqueakyBumTime.com

Blanc would have been extremely proud of his side’s 23 game unbeaten run and he will not be happy in the way in which they were defeated.

This is now their biggest game since the World Cup final in 2006.

As for Spain, they have not been at their best in the tournament so far but such is the quality of the side means they have still made the quarter-finals relatively comfortably.

Vicente Del Bosque’s men now must raise their game as they go up against a side capable of causing an upset.

Del Bosque’s side have come in for some unfair criticism regarding their group stage performances, they cannot play at the same level every game and you would expect them to really turn on the style on Saturday night when it matters.

Spain could start without a recognised striker again, which in most sides would be a ridiculous thing to do. However in this Spanish side that oozes quality in midfield, Del Bosque seems to want them all on the pitch.

If he does start a forward, Fernando Torres is likely to be the man who runs the line but Fernando Llorente will feel as though he has done enough to be given a chance in Euro 2012.

Whatever happens, it is sure to be an enthralling encounter so make sure you don’t miss it.
