Two sides who had very contrasting starts to their Premier League season meet on Saturday as Paddy Power report free bets & support for Martin Jols’ men at a big price of 11/1 as Manchester United host Fulham at Old Trafford.
Surprisingly, it is Fulham that go into the game full of confidence after their 5-0 victory over Norwich at the weekend.
United are the team who are left near the bottom of the table as they went down 1-0 at Everton.
The Red Devils will be looking to kick-start their campaign on home soil and will know that they must improve going forward this time out.
At Goodison Park, United got themselves into good positions but in the end their final ball was really not good enough.
Paddy Power will offer free bets worth £250/€250 to spend on any Premiership outright or Premiership match betting market this weekend, including Man Utd v Fulham! They’ll also refund bets if the game finishes 0-0! Exclusive to SqueakyBumTime.com
Shinji Kagawa was the big positive Sir Alex Ferguson can take from that match though as he looked as though he had been playing in the Premier League for years. Kagawa was very good on the ball and at the heart of everything his side did going forward.
Robin Van Persie could be involved in the starting line-up and make his home debut for the club after only getting 20 minutes on Monday night.
Fulham will go into this encounter with the pressure off them somewhat as not much will be expected of them.
Martin Jol can really send his side out to play their natural game and see if they can cause United problems, especially as they got their season off to the perfect start and took the attention away from Clint Dempsey – who of course refused to play.
Jol’s men were superb against Norwich and he will be delighted that new signing Mladen Petric settled into the side straight away and got himself two goals.
This will certainly be a tough test for the Cottagers but for them, the game could not come at a better time – they will want to keep their 100% record going.
Kick-off for this one if at 3pm.
