Vidal withdrew from his national team’s matches against England and Brazil after injuring his thigh in the second-half of Juventus’ win over Napoli.

FIFA rules state that a player cannot play a competitive club game for five days if sent home injured from an international call-up but the governing body have given Vidal the go ahead to play this weekend.

Roma meanwhile are not in action and after two successive draws expectations have been dampened somewhat.

The club made a stunning start to the season winning 10 games in a row and while they are still unbeaten Garcia still believes his side has a long way to go before they can wrestle the title from Juventus’ grasp.

“Juve have been built to win the scudetto,” Garcia said to Gazzetta dello Sport. “We are not at that level just yet.

“Our aim this season is to qualify for European competition, perhaps the Champions League.

“It’s normal that our fans dream big but I believe we need to be realistic.

“If we finish in the top five that would be a very good result for us.”

Elsewhere Inter Milan will look to keep extend their recent unbeaten run to 6 games then they take on Bologna while in-form Giuseppe Rossi will look to add to his 11 goals this season when Fiorentina take on Udinese.

Sinisa Mihajlovic will hope he can inspire Sampdoria to a win his first game in charge against Lazio.

The 44 year old left his post as Serbian manager to take over at the Serie A strugglers who will enter the weekend in 18th place and on a run of three successive defeats.

Atalanta travel to take on Sassuolo looking for only their second away win of the season while out of from Torino face Catania.
