The Old Lady responded in excellent fashion the last time they suffered defeat following up a 4-2 loss to Fiorentina with 12 straight wins – a run that saw them assume control of the Serie A table.

History will be on the side of Conte’s men as they will head to the Italian capital having returned undefeated on each occasion since December 2003, a run of 18 matches. The club have won without conceding on their last four league meetings with Lazio at the Olimpico.

Second place Roma also face a tricky trip travelling to play 6th place Hellas Verona. The club bounced back from their recent defeat to Juventus with wins over Genoa (4-0) and Livorno (3-0) not to mention their midweek success in the cup.

They will be facing Verona at the right time with the club heading into the fixture on the back of successive defeats, losing 1-0 to Milan and 3-0 to Napoli.

The club have an impressive home record however winning 8 of their 10 games to date with only Napoli and Chievo claiming maximum points at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi

Third place Napoli currently sit 12 points behind leaders Juventus but are unbeaten in their last 7 games.

They will have been dismayed by the Rolando Bianchi’s 90th minute goal last weekend which cost them all three points against Bologna.

They face a Chievo side that sits 16th in the table and has lost 3 of their last 5 games.

Inter Milan, with just one win in five, will hope to address their poor recent form when they take on bottom side Catania while neighbours AC will hope to build on their narrow win over Verona last weekend when they take on Cagliari.

Fourth place Fiorentina currently just 3 points off third place Napoli will fancy their chances against midtable Genoa while 7th place Torino face a tricky test against an Atalanta side that has beaten Cagliari and Catania in their last two outings.

Sassuolo will hope to move out of the bottom three when they take on second bottom Livorno.

The club were bought crashing down to earth following their stunning win over AC Milan when they lost to Torino last time out but they will fancy their chances against a Livorno side that is currently four points behind them.

The final games of the weekend see Parma take on Udinese and Sampdoria hosting Bologna.
