In addition to their league meeting, the pair are also set to go head to head in the round 16 of the Europa League, with the first leg scheduled for next Thursday.

Juventus are currently on course for their third successive title, Antonio Conte’s men currently lead second place Roma by 11 points with fourth place Fiorentina a further 13 points back.

Fiorentina are the only team to beat Juventus in Serie A this season running out surprise 4-2 winners in October and Old Lady Manager Antonio Conte is expecting a tough battle on Sunday.

“Fiorentina are a very strong side.” Conte told the Gazzetta dello Sport

“They have a lot of ambition and they want to qualify for the Champions League next season.

“They are fourth in the standings and have already reached the Coppa Italia final.

“We will face them first in the league and then in the Europa League and we shall see how that goes.”

Conte is expected to make some changes to his side with Andrea Pirlo suspended following a yellow card against Milan last weekend with his place likely to go to Arturo Vidal who missed the trip to the San Siro through suspension.

Defender Giorgio Chiellini is set to return to the starting line-up following a three-week spell on the sidelines with a calf injury.

Fiorentina meanwhile will be without midfielder Borja Valero, who serves the second of a reduced three-match ban, while defender Nenad Tomovic is also suspended.

Both sides will head into the game in contrasting form with Juventus on a run off five straight wins in all competitions, keeping clean sheets in each of their last four games while Fiorentina are without a win in three games in all competitions, losing to Lazio 1-0 in their most recent outing.
